pickThis is such a great series. Bryant, May, and all of the staff at the Peculiar Crimes Unit are well-developed, complex characters. The crimes they seek to solve are often bizarre, at least on the surface. There‘s never a straight line to the solution, no matter how twisted or banal it may be.

Really enjoying this series. What's not to love about cranky old detectives, Byzantine crimes and the secret history of London?
pickAnother enjoyable PCU :) it had me really working with them to figure out who was the Highwayman. I enjoyed the connections to historical criminals. I had to do some googling on a couple of them, just because I was curious. I am looking forward to reading the next installment in this series.
No where I have to run off to. I can finally quietly read while the man and dog sleep 😊
