Fault Line
Fault Line | C. Desir
1 post | 3 read | 2 to read
In a single night, Ani’s life was torn to shreds—and Ben struggles with the weight of trying to fix the unfixable in this heartbreaking and edgy debut novel. Ben could date anyone he wants, but he only has eyes for the new girl—sarcastic, free-spirited Ani. Luckily for Ben, Ani wants him, too. She’s everything Ben could ever imagine. Everything he could ever want. But that all changes after the party. The one Ben misses. The one Ani goes to alone. Now Ani isn’t the girl she used to be, and Ben can’t sort out the truth from the lies. What really happened, and who is to blame? Ben wants to help Ani, but the more she pushes him away, the more he wonders if there’s anything he can do to save the girl he loves in this powerful, gut-wrenching debut novel.

These are a few of my picks for our group! Anyone read these or like one more than another? #lmpbc #groupc
Side note: my cat is not being sent in addition to any books 😂😂😂😂
(Fault line by C. Desir, She Matters by Susanna Sonnenberg, The Pact by Jennifer Sturman, Loud in the House of Myself by Stacy Pershall and Reality Boy by AS King)

cwarnier I have not read any of these, nor I have heard of them 6y
Bookish_AF I hadn‘t heard of these either! I would probably choose Reality Boy or Loud in the House of Myself but that‘s just based on the blurbs. I‘m really cool with anything! Ha can you imagine us all sending a cat in the mail with the book every month? 😂 6y
Victoriahoperose @whippoorwill815 I know 😂😂😂 I‘m good with either of those. They have all been on my TBR for a minute! 6y

OriginalCyn620 I haven‘t read any of these and I‘d be okay with any of them, but Fault Line and Reality Boy sound especially good! 6y
Victoriahoperose @OriginalCyn620 @cwarnier @whippoorwill815 I think I‘ll go with Reality Boy then! 6y
Kaylamburson I really liked Reality Boy. I read it a long time ago, so I don't remember a lot, but I definitely remember liking it! 6y
Victoriahoperose @Kaylamburson oh good! I‘ve heard really good things about this one!! 6y
