Not exactly the tagged book but they published several volumes. As I did not dive this year learning more about octopuses :)

#ISpy an orange cover! Thanks for the tag @wanderinglynn

If you‘d like to play @Smarkies @eraderneely @Itchyfeetreader , can you find a book with fruit on the cover?

wanderinglynn I love the classic Penguin books 🧡 5y

It‘s been a long day. And for some reason my mind keeps heading for this little gem. Which is absolutely not #aspacemancametravelling - but there are so many similarities between deep space exploration & deep sea exploration... Honest! Cousteau invented the aqualung, which looks incredibly spaceman-like. Doesn‘t it?! 👨‍🚀

TrishB Works for me 😁😁 6y
rockpools @TrishB You‘re too kind! 6y
Velvetfur Deep space and deep sea are definitely comparable, as humans have no idea what's really out there, or down there, despite what they've already explored. Both things are too vast 😊 6y

Ruthiella Agree that deep sea and outer space are comparable! Great choice!😀 6y
batsy Chiming in with others—love the connection. Vast, mysterious spaces... 6y

Almost too pretty to open 😍. Thank you @Smarkies - It's perfect!

Ridiculously excited to read The Silent World- one if those books I wasn't really aware of, but totally should have read! I always meant to read Out of Africa, & this a beautiful copy. And The Reason I Jump has been on my tbr for months, and looks SO good. Plus the cards are just beautiful! Thank you 😊

& huge thanks @inwhichHeikereadsharder

Smarkies Glad you like it Rachel. The Jacques Couteau book was one that I got on a whim and thought it would suit your skew towards nature. 🌳🌳💚🌳🌳🐟🐟💙💙 7y
Kaye Something tells me I should have signed up for this since I like NF books so much. At least I can make out a list of what you all get. It‘ll give me dead of what to search for. 7y
rockpools @Smarkies It certainly does! Rachel Carson's 'sea' books are some of my all-time favourites - somehow I hadn't even thought to see if Cousteau had written books 😁. Really looking forward to it! 7y

rockpools @Kaye I was NOT doing any exchanges this year. Then non-fiction happened!! I think there'll be much stacking going on today. 7y
Kaye Right, I think so too. It seems fiction is much more popular in general, even at libraries. They tend to have lots more new fiction choices, so you have to search a bit more if you like NF. Looks like you got some good books 📚 7y
SilversReviews Pretty photo. 7y
rockpools @smarkies I've just hung up the cards - did you paint them? 💖 7y
Smarkies @RachelO yes I did. I hope you like them. 😁 7y
rockpools They are stunning! It was only when I hung them up I realised they were paintings rather than prints - I love them! 7y
LeahBergen Out of Africa is so good! 7y
