A solid police procedural and mystery interspersed with serious issues. Di Marnie Rome is a smart and complex character.

I really enjoy this series and sped through this book. The mystery kept me reading and I was not expecting the eventual resolution.

If you like a decent thriller you should definitely check out Sarah Hilary's DI Marnie Rome series. I've enjoyed the first two loads. "Two little boys, trapped in an underground bunker and wondering why they've been trapped there..."

MyBookLife Adding the first book. Thanks! 9y
