I don‘t know what makes this the “original” version. I don‘t know to which version I listened. I do know that I enjoyed it. Roe has been a widow for a year or so as this book begins, and she still is grieving. An old flame returns to town to perk her right back up. I remember in 1985, when I met the love of my life, we were kissing and “stuff.” I pulled away at one point and told him not to give me a hickey. His answer was perfect. (cont)⬇️
