A Hollywood actress and a stuntman from different worlds get a second chance at love after they were torn apart as teenagers Former soap opera star Sadie Gold is determined to overcome her reputation as a spoiled rich girl with more connections than talent. Shes thrilled to score a coveted role in a blockbuster movieuntil she learns that the stunt man training her is Bo Ibarra, the guy Sadie lost her heart to years ago. Sadie and Bo havent seen each other in a decade, and their reunion is bringing up desires they havent felt since they were teenagers. But Sadie has been holding onto a secret from their past she is desperate to keep hidden. When a tabloid splashes the secret across the headlines, both of them are shaken from the fallout. Can Sadie convince Bo to take a chance on them again? One things for sure, happy endings dont come as easily in real life as they do in the movies.

Mehso-so

This final in a trilogy about bffs finding love was just so-so for me. While the writing in all was fine (my favorite being the second one), I found the characters selfish and not particularly mature for their ages (30ish). This was the second chance story of Sadie and Bo, who met at 7 and 8 respectively, began an affair at 16 and 17, broke up at 18 and 19 and met again by chance at 29 and 30. ⬇️⬇️

robinb There is a social class issue (Bo‘s family works for Sadie‘s wealthy grandmother) and a secret that Sadie failed to share with Bo after he broke up with her (prom night). And quite frankly, if they had this epic young love story, why did he just walk away (out-of-the-blue, at the first hint of trouble) without explanation and in turn, why did she just let him? 🙄😩🤷🏻‍♀️ In the end, I just didn‘t feel much for these characters. 3/5⭐️ ⬇️⬇️ 6y

Up next is a little fun and fluff (hopefully)! This is the final installment in the Sometimes in Love trilogy of which I‘ve already read the first two. Time to revisit some familiar characters. 😊❤️
