I really liked this one. Would recommend if you‘re a fan of any of her movies. Annie Hall is my favorite (acknowledging that Woody Allen is problematic to say the least). A mix of anecdotes from her own life and excerpts from her mother‘s diary it was touching, sweet, and very much the way I expected Diane Keaton to write. Thanks #lmpbc I hadn‘t heard of this one before. I hope this has inspired the group to watch Annie Hall!!
Gorgeous fall day to dig into my #Lpmbc book. Looking forward to it.
I love that this read just like Diane Keaton- awkward and insecure, a bit jumbled and non linear and just so her.
Did you know she directed Belinda Carlisle's "Heaven is A Place on Earth"?

1. Still at work... It's been a long day.
2. Then Again by Diane Keaton
3. Umm by total whimsy or my library holds come in.
I‘m not a fan of memoirs but got given this one. I do like Dianne Keaton and had just watched Hampstead with plans to watch Annie Hall again. I really enjoyed the book. It‘s about her mum as well as about her. Her mum kept journals and scrap type books all her life. Much of the book based on these. Very interesting and certainly a good insight into the real Dianne. Would recommend. @MrsMalaprop
My Christmas book. Looking forward to reading it as I really enjoy watching her. My partner and I have a Xmas tradition of giving each other presents from op shops. This year the budget was no more than $20 to be spent. It is a lot of fun and both of us actually got things we will enjoy and find useful. @MrsMalaprop
Happy Christmas all. A wonderful hot day here. Beaches were packed.
I adore Diane Keaton and I love hearing her talk about her beautiful relationship with her mother.
After the snowstorm yesterday, I was surprised and delighted to find this little patch of flowers on the mountainside.
I enjoyed this audiobook. Keaton introduced us to her mother, interspersing Mom's journal entries with stories of Keaton's life and career. The only downside to listening to this was that the shift between the mother and daughter's perspective was not always obvious. Nothing earth shattering here, but a pleasant listen.
Oh how I wish Keaton had spent more time talking about the making of this movie. I've watched Reds more times than I can count and I love everything about it.
I have to admit to being disappointed with this book. I adore Diane Keaton and had such high hopes, but it left me a little lost. I think that was mostly because she kept switching between her own memories and her mother's journals. I lost count of the times I was unsure who's words I was listening to. All in all I'm sad to say, I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm giving Diane her black and white Vogue cover! Because I just read the part where she begged them to go with b/w but they went with colour😎
#internationalwomensday I am reading this via audible. I love this woman! She is amazing and so comfortable in her own skin.
Day 7 of #octphotochallenge OF girl crush is going to and will always go to Miss Diane Keaton. I know she isnt a fictional character but I've loved every movie she was in, read Then Again in literally two days and have always said when I go to weddings I'm just going to wear suits with bowlers hats like her. She's freaking awesome and has never apologized for who she is.
