Getting a blood draw used to be a relatively simple thing. These days, we have to plan for 2+ hours of sitting around and waiting to be called. Fortunately, I got a great parking spot and brought 3 books ... the tagged one (#LMPBC), the digital copy of my last #cbbc round 3 book (Shedding Light on Murder), and the audio book I‘m listening to (Shot in the Dark, 17th in the Claire Cosy coffeehouse mysteries). 🤓🤓🤓

pickConfession: I don‘t really like Sherlock Holmes stories. They‘ve always been hard for me to get into. This one was pretty good- fast paced and I skipped over the wordy parts 😂 3/5 marking as a pick bc I think you‘ll like it if you like SH . @Avanders I‘ll have this in the mail by Saturday. #historicalhussies

The story is set in the midst of WWI, with the aging Sherlock and Dr. Watson coming out of retirement to help solve a case for Mycroft Holmes. A well-done story that I thoroughly enjoyed. 4⭐️
