so-soI finally got to the end of this book, and though I did enjoy it, it got sluggish in some parts. My favourite quote came towards the end of the book: "Poker gives you the illusion of manipulating chance and making it serve you. Your daddy taught you that skill and self control can defeat the tyranny of randomness, that it doesn't matter whether you're "lucky" or "unlucky". This may be true at the card table, but it's woefully untrue in life..."
