My professor today asked who likes reading and I was one of the few who raised their hands. She gave me this novel and I can't believe myself 😂♥️ This is my favourite professor and I have loved her since the first lecture she ever gave me. Now, I have a book of hers that she gave to me and she will not take it back 😂♥️♥️♥️♥️ I can't believe it 😭♥️
I liked this. Much more progressive than most classics. I feel like I raced through it, and didn't absorb everything so will definitely need to read it again.
Have to be in line at the post office what better time to listen to an audio book.
#Bookhaul number 2, from City Center Gallery & Books. Most of these are for either the Great American Read or my 100 Essential Novels poster. But some are just because. 😀
Today I went to the theater to see the comedy musical Scaramouche! I loved it, it was funny and relatable to nowadays politics and social situations (at last from where I live). It felt like Les Miss meets The Princess Bride. I'm not sure to what extend the play is inspired by the book. I've read a little about it and although it feels familiar, it's not the same story. However, I loved it! ❤️
#GreatFirstLines. (So great that it is on Sabatini's tombstone). #Booktober
