Fast, fun and food themed. This series is so much fun to read. The setting and characters keep me coming back.

I‘d forgotten how much fun these mysteries are. It‘s easy reading, and while it wasn‘t too hard to figure out whodunnit, the familiar characters and their dynamics kept my interest. And there are always recipes. I feel like I gained 5 pounds just reading this 😄

I forgot to take a picture of the red velvet cupcakes I made, so you get to look at my famous pumpkin cupcakes, which, like the red velvet ones, are just holders for cream cheese icing!

Lynnsoprano @dabbe My family requests these for any occasion between October and March. Whenever we‘ve tailgated for a football game, these have been required. One year, I made kahlua cream cheese brownies instead, and had an insurrection on my hands 🤣🤣 5mo
dabbe @Lynnsoprano I think I could eat the entire batch in one sitting. 🤩😂🤗 5mo

Sometimes the universe sends you a sign of what book to read next. I made red velvet cupcakes over the weekend (sorry, no pictures of those) and then this book showed up in my Bookbub email yesterday. I haven‘t read one of these in quite a while, so I‘m looking forward to it. I just wish I had a cupcake to eat while I read😄

tpixie Yummy! And what a fun coinkydink! 5mo

Actually one of the better ones in this #guiltypleasure series. More mystery elements and suspense than usual.

Book 12 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner This is one of the series that got me into cozy mysteries. This is book 16 in the series. I wish the love triangle would end. I am Team Norman. I love they made some of them into Hallmark movies even if they left out some characters. Definitely makes you hungry for a good bakery.

Librarybelle I‘m Team Norman too! 4y
ferskner The love triangle is RIDICULOUS. #teamsingle 4y

A series of “accidents” finally include a murder. Hannah & her cupcakes become suspect, so she tracks down the culprit. Quick read/listen.

I had watched some of the Hannah Swensen mysteries on tv and they were so cute I decided to read one of the books. Nice, cozy mystery. Only problem is, with all the baking and recipes, I was constantly graving baked goods while reading. Today I finished the book and allowed myself a nice, homemade chocolate chip cookie! Now on to my next novel, Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson.

CoffeeNBooks I loved the Hannah Swensen mysteries! 6y
Jaimelire @CoffeeNBooks I plan to read more. Fun read and I love all the great recipes🍪 6y

I love Joanne Fluke for a quick comedy/mystery read. I‘m a little behind on her work but it doesn‘t take long to catch up because her writing is so entertaining. I‘m looking forward to getting caught up on these. This is also from my libraries digital download.
