The Very Clumsy Click Beetle by Eric Carle, 1999. This book features a tiny click beetle who doesn't know how to click and flip. The book follows the click beetle as the old click beetle tries to teach him how to click and flip. Each time, the beetle fails and lands on his back. This would be a great book to teach children about perseverance. Keep trying!

The Very Clumsy Click Beetle by Eric Carle 1999
This book is an entertaining read about a little beetle that can not land their click on their feet! He goes around people showing how he could do so yet can not land. The pictures give a bright sense of perseverance throughout its pages!

This book has a lot of repeating words that can be used for a class to speak back to you.

This is a comedic piece that kids would not stop laughing. Also it has a lot of repetition in works that a class could read aloud with you!

Mehso-so

The fate of too many spinoffs, just not as good as the original. The Very Hungry Caterpillar had more interactivity, and better variety/detail showcased in the art. Nothing wrong with it, just meh, meant for younger audience.
