So, so, SO, so good. Took me back to reading my dad‘s fantasy books on high school.

This book had so much promise and there were some sections I really enjoyed. I feel possibly the author tried to put too much in one book, the world building, action etc. As a result it felt a bit choppy and you felt overwhelmed by all the people, places and death. I feel a slower build up was called for. I feel tempted to read a second one to see if it gets any better but then again there are so many great books out there!
Returning to The Enchantress. I started listening to it a few months ago but lost it in the other books I was reading at the time. Got to 25% but have started again at the beginning. This is fantasy and the first book in the Evermen Saga Series. #MountTBRChallenge #YearOfTheChunkster #LitsyAtoZ
#mapsoflitsy One of those books with a great map in it. I do love a good map, but does slow down the reading as I keep referring to the map.
Starting this first book in the Everyman Saga - there are four books in the series. This one is rated as 3.95 on Goodreads, and the rating for each book in the series increases as the series progresses. This was a daily deal from Audible - last year I think. Interesting start so far. #MountTBRChallenge #LitsyAtoZ #Yearofthechunkster 624 Pages in the book.
Has anyone read this book or seen any reviews on this book by people whose opinions they value? I have got an audiobook of it read by one of my favourite narrators, Simon Vance. Does anyone If the book is any good?
This series has been on my TBR list for a while. They're on sale right now through Amazon. The kindle editions are $1.99 each, and when you buy them you have a chance to add on the Audible edition as well for an additional $1.99 each. So for less than $16 I got the whole series for Kindle and Audible! I've never listened to an entire series on Audible before, I'm pretty stoked about it! 😀 #BookHaul #BookSale
So I'm considering Enchantress for my next audible purchase- my last choice turned out to be a bit of a fail so I'm looking for something better this time. Has anyone read/listened to this? Or found any really good fantasy on audible? Recommendations always appreciated 😍😀😀
