A battle for control turns explosive as a beautiful con woman takes a bad-boy biker hostage in this edgy, seductive novel set in the world of Everything I Left Unsaid (Toe-curlingly sensual.Katy Evans) and The Truth About Him (Absolutely one-click worthyJ. Kenner). The only thing that matters to me is rescuing my sister from the drug-cooking cult that once enslaved us both. Ive run cons my whole life, and Ill use my body to get whatever I need. Max Daniels is the last connection I have to that world, the one person reckless enough to get involved. Besides, now that his brothers have turned on him, he needs me too. The deal was supposed to be simple: a place to hide in exchange for rescuing my sister. Now hes my prisoner. Totally at my mercy. But Im the one captivated. Enthralled. Doing everything he asks of me until Im not sure whos in control. We both crave the heat. The more it hurts, the better. But what if Max wants a different life now, to leave the game . . . to love me? I thought I knew better than to get burned. Now Im in too deep to pull away. And the crazy thing is . . . Day 6 of #Riotgrams: Current Read. BURN DOWN THE NIGHT by M. O'Keefe. Joan, the heroine, is so complex and the amount of heartbreaking guilt she carries around with her makes for a rough read. Not in a bad way, but I can only read for an hour or so at night before my empathy for Joan becomes overwhelming.

I loved this. So much tension, so much rage in both Joan/Olivia and Max. I've said before I have a weakness for books about broken people and this fell deliciously into that niche. If you want a Heroine who is holding up two middle fingers at the world, this is your book. I know this is book three in a series of standalones and it really did stand alone. I haven't read the other two, but don't feel like anything was spoiled.

Wait For It is the next book in the series. My O'Keefe is becoming a must buy for me. This book delivers both hot, erotica scenes and a sweet romance. The heroine and hero are complicated, distrustful, and scarred by cruelty. Love it.

OMG THIS BOOK, Y'ALL‼️‼️ Burn Down the Night was SO GOOD❗️It was dark and gritty and beautiful and ?. Max and Joan were so perfectly messed up together and I totally buy that despite their issues, they're amazing as a couple. I CANNOT wait for Worth It (Tiffany and Blake's book). "Soon" is way too vague!!

Ahaha I love this! End of the first chapter and I'm already in love with Joan and her total fatalistic desperate outlook. Thank goodness for long train rides!! #readingforgold #readingdecathalon

I was excited to read Burn Down the Night, because I really wanted to know what happened to Max and Joan. Their story was extra dark and twisty. There was nothing light and sweet about this book. But it was gritty and good. It was fast paced and the sex scenes didn't scare me as much as the first two books did. So that's a plus. While, I think this book could be read as a stand alone, I highly suggest reading the fist two books first.
