I picked up the tagged book at Left Bank Books while in St. Louis several years ago. Easily one of the coolest stores I've been to. I haven't read this one yet, but I am really looking forward to it. DNF- Alright, we have our MC going to the North Pole and while he was there his companions die, and a purple cloud descends on the rest of the world that kills everyone. The writing was really good actually so I might try this again. I‘m bailing on it because he‘s literally the last man on earth. He is the only narrative so it‘s a bit depressing. Right now I‘m not in a good head space for it.

I just came across the above unread book on my shelves while searching for another book. This one sounds fantastic. If I remember correctly I picked this up at Left Bank Books a couple of years ago. Moved to my TBR pile by my chair.
