“Never thought about Ohio but I've learned a few things watching the Weather Channel.“
I don't think I would use this book in my classroom only because it is a poetry book that doesn't rhyme and the poems are very random and don't connect with one another. They are short and simple though.
This is a poetry book. It has all types of poems in it but I am talking about a poem called “Ohio Rain.“ It is about the wild weather Ohio gets such as thunderstorms, tornados, and snow. It doesn't use rhyming words, but it does use alliteration.
End of the year haiku:
5 bookshelves down and
5 more left to go.
Changing classrooms. Ugh!

Old house. Old school. Old friends. I try not to think about that but I do.
I thought that this book was good because the poems really brought the sense and everything that goes with moving. My favorite poem was the waking up one.
Poetry and was written in 2006. This book is about everything that goes with moving from a house to another one farther away. It talks about where they are going all of the boxes and bubble wrap that they will need to move with. The last part is about waking up the day that they are moving.
