Well @LibrarianRyan was spot on - the ending felt rushed, disjointed, and was disappointingly anticlimactic. But still a pick for me because I‘ve enjoyed the series overall and there were some good things about this book.

so-so

This series is great for this time of year! (This is book 3 of 4) Its filled with ghosts, superstition, and black magic. I don't generally read mysteries, they just aren't my thing. So this isn't my favorite. What I like most about this one is that the main character is discovering that she is more powerful than she knew. The pieces to the puzzle are beginning to fall into place. #octoberread🍊🍂🍃👻 #ghostsgalore #booktober

RestingBodiceFace I read the first three when they came out in 2012, when I was trying to find something similar to the Harper Connelly series by Charlaine Harris. I had no idea she released more this year; I will have to order them!
