This job has not turned out as expected & has gotten increasingly difficult due to issues with my supervisor. I love living in WA state, but I‘m not sure how I‘m going to be able to stay at this job & keep up good mental health.

Please send some good thoughts/vibes/energy/prayers my way please. My supervisor has scheduled a 1.5 hr meeting with me this afternoon to discuss “communication & job duties.” 😕

Hopefully you can either find a way to make it better, find something to do that will take your mind away from the difficulties so they don‘t stress you out, OR find a better job! 🤞🏻🤗 5y

wanderinglynn @rretzler Thank you. ☺️🙏🏻 It does stink, especially since I thought based on the description & interview that it would be a great fit. But when I got here, I felt like it was a bit of a bait & switch because not as advertised. So I am trying to do just that—either find a way to make it better or look for a new position. 5y

rretzler I‘ve had a couple of jobs like that myself. In one case, it was a sort of new position for the firm that hired me and the President and I were on the same page, but others had different expectations of what I was there for and the President did nothing to try to reset those expectations. I did last 5 years, but it was a long and difficult 5 years. I hope it gets better for you soon. 5y

Kaye I‘m going to send some different vibes. I hope another job comes along that‘ll be a better fit. It‘s a struggle to have a job / boss you‘re really having issues with. ( using the Hubster for example since I do housework for a living 👎🏼 ). Wouldn‘t recommend it. The pay and benefits are nonexistent. 5y

kspenmoll I am so so sorry- negativity at work can be toxic. Try & create a protective shield around yourself. Sending you love, hugs, prayers. 💓💓💓💗I actually walked out of one after trying so many ways to make it work. Huge financial struggle but changed my life dramatically. Too toxic. (edited) 5y
