I wanted to pick something for this prompt I'd actually want to read, and I figured Kingfisher wouldn't let me down.

New book, new crochet project, regular cuddle buddy. #huey #catsoflitsy
Welp I managed to finish all but one of my planned books this month. But it was nice to be able to read a more average amount of titles this month. Highlights this month would be both of the Snow Queen reimaginings and Alphabet of Thorn.

Oooh this was so good. Retellings have been hit or miss for me but this was definitely hit. It has that folksy vibe but is also slightly modern feeling without being anachronistic.

@TheAromaofBooks has posted the official #BookSpin reminder so here is my list for next month. I'm still catching up with the last three months Doubles but I'm looking forward to the new picks as well. Hopefully I can catch a break and no chunksters this time lol. I've been hit with at least one if not two the last three months.
It's that time again! @TheAromaofBooks has posted the monthly reminder for #BookSpin so here's my list. I'm still not quite up for the bingo portion because of other monthly commitments but the two picks each month are always exciting. I'm curious when/if we will get any duplicate drawn numbers.
Glad I gave this author another shot after being underwhelmed a few years back by The Seventh Bride because I have enjoyed everything since. I adore this retelling of The Snow Queen. Greta really gets to shine and has her own agency. And Kay is a dunderhead. The robber princess has a much larger role herself. And there is a sarcastic raven who steals the show. Dark and lovely.
