Not the tagged book. This one just came out today, and yes, even with a full shift I‘m done with it already. Her books are short, and although they don‘t require tons of thought, they‘re just fun. This one relates to the tagged book in that Ares is Downy‘s (the tagged books MC) daughter, all grown up now and finding her own SWAT officer to love. #EasterExtravaganza readathon @Andrew65
pickWith Downey‘s brothers book coming out soon, I decided to reread the book where Jonah is introduced. He‘s a teenager in this one and briefly in it so I had to refresh my memory. Still good in the reread although I‘d forgotten this was the book where a wall comes down between apartments due to some vigorous activity! And because I‘ve read all the books, things I thought happened in this one don‘t. Besides—check out the eye candy on the cover. 🔥🔥
pickDamn Downy, you might be my favorite on the KPD SWAT team, but I still have Miller, Foster, Bennett, and Michael to go. They just keep getting better, but I loved the mystery in this one. Who‘s stealing dogs? The answer to that leads to a dog fighting ring (thankfully not overly graphic but no less upsetting). Memphis, Downy‘s love interest ties this in with the Dixie Warden Rejects series. Not to mention a broken wall during the sexy times. 🔥
Carry in Chinese and a book. Plus the hub is watching The Alienist. Not sure where to focus tonight.
