I love books like this-where the main character realizes we only have one life to live. It reminded me a little bit of A Man Called Ove, so if you liked that one you will like this one!!

I haven't done a challenge for a while and i can't promise that I will keep focussed but i thought I'd post this book which i enjoyed about a man made lonely by wealth in los angeles who suddenly finds himself exposed to real life to brilliant literary effect - i have her orange winner in a pile somewhere waiting to read so maybe ill dig it out.

I nearly went for mu umpteenth mention of east of eden but instead went for this story of a man on the edge of a breakdown in LA, comic and well written so not sure why i haven't moved on to her other book yet.
