Geraldine Largay vanished in July 2013, while hiking the Appalachian Trail in Maine. Her disappearance sparked the largest lost-person search in Maine history, which culminated in her being presumed dead. She was never again seen alive.

Here is my four suggestions for #CampLitsy24 I‘m hoping the tagged isn‘t too morbid since this is a camping scene. I have just been wanting to read more about Inchworm after I read an article about her being found. Plus, I just noticed we should select 2024 books? It would be disqualified. 😅

Mehso-so

I was deceived into being told this was a true crime book and it most certainly is not. However, after I got through some very boring parts about the history of the App. Trail, it turned into a book about the psychology of survival and how we act when lost. Now that is a topic I enjoy. This is the story of Gerry who goes missing hiking. One big problem is that the author tells us exactly what happened on the first page, so there is no suspense.
