A slow burn and beautifully written. The story chronicles two families and their children through love, loss, and deception. I enjoyed it very much.

4🌟 #WinterGames #ReadNosedReindeer #TBRRead @StayCurious @Clwojick
I enjoyed reading about a city in my home state . The wife moves into her husbands ancestral home, complete with a mother in law and a grandmother in law. The story weaves between her present life and her mother in laws life. The family owns Bethlehem Steel, so she's in a a world she didn't grow up in. Recommend

Crazeedi @EadieB did you read this one? A town you may know?! 5y
EadieB @Crazeedi 1/2 hr from my house. I'll have to check it out. The Steel mills have closed and they have a casino there now. 5y
Crazeedi @EadieB I knew the town died, just thought youd enjoy. So sad isn't it? 5y

She arrives at the Grand Ancestral Home of her husband‘s family, she was hoping to strengthen her already falling apart marriage. What she finds though is not expected, tragedy haunts the hallways, whispering of heartache and a past she never knew existed.

Bethlehem is a multigenerational saga that weaves together the lives of two prominent families during the historic steel boom era of Bethlehem, Bethlehem is a mystery, a love story

Crazeedi I want to read this one 5y
Crazeedi Is this Bethlehem as in the steel town of PA? 5y

It was that ending that boosted this one to a 4-star read! Shed a tear. Otherwise it's a whole lot of privilege and super wealth - it was becoming overwhelming and a little eye-rolly 🙄

I knew my mood wasn't into reading a disturbing thriller at this time (Hideaway). I turned to Bethlehem last night and so far this is fitting my reading mood much better. #20BooksofSummer
