Luna and the Lie
Luna and the Lie | Mariana Zapata
9 posts | 16 read | 2 to read
The problem with secrets is that they're too easy to keep collecting.Luna Allen has done some things she would rather no one ever know about. She also knows that, if she could go back in time, she wouldn't change a single thing. With three sisters she loves, a job she (mostly) adores, and a family built up of friends she's made over the years, Luna figures everything has worked out the way it was supposed to. But when one of those secrets involves the man who signs her paycheck, she can't find it in her to regret it. Despite the fact that he's not the friendliest man in the world. Or the most patient.Sometimes there are things you're better off keeping to yourself.

Not my favorite of Zapata's, but still a solid, tight story. Liked the characters and the plot was good. My only complaint, I thought the subplot was a bit lacking. It just didn't seem realistic. Yeah, I know it is fiction. However, I prefer when things are a bit more believable. 4⭐️

And of course. Zapata has done it once again. This is a:
boss x employee
Age gap
Grumpy x sunshine
And so much more that I can‘t remember because I‘m up way to late to finish this :)

This was my first Mariana Zapta book, and I'm definitely not disappointed!
I freaking loved this book, the plot was so good and the grumpy x sunshine romance was so perfect, the slow burn was so well written and Luna and Rip's development was so perfect. I loved the plot and got emotional over Luna's troubles, her positivity was so inspiring. I loved the story and the setting of the car shop, and Luna's job. I loved the ending and how it wrapped.

4.5⭐ It's a good book, but I don't think I'll go out of my way to read for this author again. The characters were beautifully written and the whole story was good, but not to the extent that I'll search for her works when I buy books.

I have a question. I have some audiobooks on my phone and I want to listen to them, but I don't have an audiobook player to play them on, so if you have any recommendations for good and easy to use audiobook players leave them.
Thanks in advance! ♥️

TravelsWithBooks I have an iPhone. Depending on the audiobook format, I use the Music app or the Books app to listen to the files. 3y
Seeking_Serenity @TravelsWithBooks my music app doesn't support the format of these audiobooks. They're m4b and I have Android 3y
