It‘s 68 degrees now at 4pm. What an amazing gift today! Sun came out late morning & it‘s been wonderful! I washed off my glider- it stays out all winter & made myself a reading space. I am sure it will get cold again but enjoying reading outside surrounded by trees bare of leaves & bird song. #porchlife #readingoutdoors #springhascome

Two books arrived at our house today. One for my husband, one for my son.
The one by DougJones discusses the Birmingham bombing and how it galvanized the Civil Rights movement. Unbeknownst to us,my husband‘s father, an FBI agent in the South at that time, investigated the bombing. In 2001, after the case was reopened, his testimony was vital in the conviction of Thomas Blanton. The other book looks great!
