This chapter title page made me chuckle.
Its not the actual art style of the story itself so it kind of surprised me.
Dededede is a slice of life manga that just happens to take place during an alien invasion/occupation. Only, so far the Aliens are just sitting there hovering in their spaceships.

I‘m curious to see what Asano will do with this character, Oran‘s older brother, as the series progresses.

Initially, one of the students wonders if she was right to blow off her summer homework, but years pass & the aliens aren‘t going anywhere. There are protests about blocking sunlight & not being able to dry laundry. It‘s surreal, quirky & delightful with outstanding artwork—a combination of high realism & cartoony. Adult #graphicnovel
