This book had words that talked about how umbrellas can move around and they did this by using a picture.

This book helped better describe natural weather occurants in a manner that was fun and engaging for the reader.

I think this book would be great for 2nd-4th graders for either a read aloud or an individual read

I read this book to my second graders last semester for science and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this book, it is super engaging and fun but also teaches students a lot about different aspects of science.

This book is a science based book for kids. It talks about natural everyday things in the world that most people do not give a second guess to, but dives in and helps explain these concepts to a child.

This is an award-winning book. It was the Dr. Suess award. The author makes scientific principles easy for even the youngest kids to understand. This book is about a young child who loves to play. Bring along balloons. Find a windy place. Together you'll face the wind and see that learning is a breeze. Discover science, and the world will never look the same.

I would use this in my classroom to help my kids understand basic science through play. It is an easy way to introduce them to the beginning of science lessons.

Review: I Face the Wind by Vicki Cobb, 2003, is a nonfiction story about science, but told in a fun entertaining way!
Blurb: this is a great example of the genre because while its factual and real information it's a fun story with activities and fun illustrations.

I like how it unified real activities and experiments to do with children. It makes learning about wind fun. It was published in 2003.

This nonfiction book touches on science for young learners. It answers questions we have about wind and how it works. The illustrations were interesting too. The book flows nicely, one of my favorite this year.

I liked the way they made these words look like the inside out umbrella

This would be good for maybe first graders and to do an activity before or after the book to further their understanding of science
