#TimbitTunes #ConstantCraving I haven't read it, but now I'm curious about it. @cinfhen @TheKidUpstairs
Cinfhen Hmmmm, I‘m curious too!!! 6y

GingerAntics I got this book several years ago now at the suggestion of a friend. I found it overly simplistic and a one size fits all that doesn‘t work for everyone. If you want peanut butter you supposedly want more date nights and more fun in your love life, but sometimes my body just needs the healthy fats and protein. If you want chocolate there is a long laundry list of things you supposedly want, but maybe you‘re just PMSing. It‘s ridiculous. (edited) 6y

GingerAntics The contents of this book may be true for the author, but they are in no way universal. Not every person who loves snickers is looking for more romance. 🙄 6y
CoffeeNBooks @GingerAntics Lol! Thanks for clarifying... I won't waste my time with it then. 🤣 I thought maybe it was a more health/diet-related book. 6y
GingerAntics @CoffeeNBooks it sort of is, but probably not what you‘re thinking of. I would love a book that talked about cravings, why we get them, and scientifically proven ways to deal with them (although I find I crave certain things when I‘m low of the nutrients found in them). That would be a great book. This book recommendation came right along with “Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food.” 6y
CoffeeNBooks @GingerAntics That sounds like another book that would not be for me. 🤔 I tend to go with my gut instinct when I'm craving something, whether salty, sweet, salad, fruit, etc. It would be interesting to know why I crave sweets some days and not others. 6y
GingerAntics @CoffeeNBooks I think that has to do with hormones, but I‘m also finding out about genetics plays a role on sensitivity to salty/savoury flavours or sweet flavours. 6y
TheKidUpstairs I feel like this would just make me hungry... 6y
