Mehso-so

I read this for my American History II class. We write a critical book review. Since Bryan was a Nebraska resident, and I‘m from NE, I picked this book from my professor‘s list. While I enjoyed learning about Bryan and various political figures of the early 1900s, I didn‘t like the structure of the book. Bryan ran (and lost) the Presidency 3 times. I know his platforms...beating a dead horse, bro. Tell me something I can‘t Wikipedia real quick.

Mamashep What a disappointment. When I lived in Lincoln, I was a tour guide for home. I was excited to see the book. 6y
AshleyHoss820 @Mamashep I was bummed as well. I really wanted to like this, but it got so monotonous. It was just crammed full of information. He would‘ve done better breaking it up into topic sections instead of chunks of years. It got to be so that each chapter contained similar information. Plus, I would‘ve really liked to hear more about his family. 😕 6y
