This wasn‘t a bad thriller, though I didn‘t love it. The plot felt like something I‘d read before and I was able to guess some, though not all, of the reveals. It ultimately landed as just okay for me. A good insomnia read, but nothing I would pick up again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #netgalley

Kimber, a 38 year-old remorseless chaos bomb has her life upended when some decide she needs a dose of her own bitter medicine. Things get drawn out longer than neccesary or interesting because secrets & reasons. My high hopes were dashed. 😞 #psychologicalthriller

Kimber returns from a short break to find a stranger in her home. She calls the police, but the guy has a signed lease.

The story is told from two POV: present day Kimber, & diary entries from her older sister Michelle, who died as a teenager.

Although is starts out slow, it does start to pick up about a third of the way in, but I found the MC, Kimber, almost impossible to like or sympathise/empathise with. 3⭐️

A chilling twisted page turning read! This book grabs a hold of you right away as the main charecter Kimber arrives home from a trip to find her keys not working & a strange man living inside her house. The author packs this story with multiple story lines from past to present time making some plots a bit easy to figure out & others leaving you pleasantly surprised.

Feb was a slow reading month for me almost done with this one & I'm loving it so far👍

This one had a great opening, but the end was messy (too many twists.) Not terrible, but not my favorite thriller, either. I‘m adding the sunset pic because isn‘t it gorgeous?
