A temptingly beautiful woman is rescued from the icy waters of the Thames, her memory gone. Told that she is Vivien Rose Duvall, one of London's most scandalous beauties, she finds herself under the protection of the enigmatic and charming Grant Morgan, one of London's most eligible, and unattainable, catches. As his love for this mysterious beauty grows, he's determined to discover the truth--no matter what.

Idk why they decided to put the sticker right over the title 🤦‍♀️.

I really enjoyed this romance. I basically read it in a day. Though Grant was super mean and judgmental because she was a courtesan. Called her a whore a few times.

Vivien loses her memory and Grant is a Bow Street Runner investigating the crime. She stays at his house while she recovers. Lots of sexy time. I did guess one of the mysteries and was suspicious of the 2nd.

2 books away from my personal reading goal for the year. So why not end it with a little #romantsy from one of the best! #lisakleypas

And maybe, just maybe, I‘ll find time for all three of the Bow Street Runners series before it‘s all over...🤞

DGRachel I haven‘t read anything by her. I may have to remedy that. 🤔 7y
TaciturnWhenReading @DGRachel I hope you do! I highly recommend the Hathaway series to start! 7y
DGRachel I just bought the first one. It was recommended by someone in Penny Reid‘s Facebook fan group recently, too. Must be fate telling me to grab it. 😂 7y

⭐⭐⭐ Although my kindle crapped out in the middle of it, this was a good read.

Today I mourn the passing of my Kindle, Gretchen, who passed away in the middle of this book. Fortunately my iPad, Agnes, has a kindle app and enough room for a few books until I can justify buying a new one. Farewell, Gretchen. May your batteries never deplete, and may the Kindle Daily Deal always fill you with joy.

I loved the writing style and found it entertaining and compelling. But I didn't enjoy the story. This is a 2-3 star book for me.

darcisews Have you read her Travis brothers series?!?! One of my absolute favorites. First book is Sugar Daddy. 9y
Heyporkchop @darcisews I haven't! Should I read that one or her Wallflowers?!!! 9y
