I didn‘t want to have my first Litsy review be negative, but this story was boring and the writing left a lot to be desired. It reminded me of a knock-off Steel Magnolias.

Book #10 for my 2019 reading challenge: read 30 NEW books this year. I‘m a notorious re-reader so this is a fun challenge. I needed a little bit of feel-good chick lit so this is my current pick.
The Magnolia Inn by Carolyn Brown made my heart feel so happy and full of love. I love all of the characters and their old souls! I‘m usually a thriller/horror/true crime reader but this book was such a good romance!
Bought this thinking it was a Kindle version, then was mildly disappointed when I realized it wasn't. I LOVE physical books, don't get me wrong. But lately my Kindle and I have found our sweet spot (mostly between 10pm and 2am when everyone else is asleep). This might end up having to be a beach read this year. 📚🤓❤
This book was pretty good- just an easy beach kind of read. It was a free book with amazon prime and I loved being able to switch between audio and reading. Enjoying the sunshine today!
Hey, I'll take a free audiobook. It's always good to change things up. It keeps that reading spark going.

Happy book birthday to The Magnolia Inn by Carolyn Brown!I'm so excited to #partner with Montlake Romance to celebrate this lovely author and her new book. I've had the chance to chat with Carolyn Brown a few time ago, before her last release, and I was impressed by her kindness...and I enjoyed so much her last book that I'm looking forward to reading this new one.
