This Polish family in the book What the World Eats has several candy items on the round table. I think it‘s safe to say the at least one of them is a #candylover. #literarylove @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

This was extremely interesting, with photos of what families in different parts of the world eat in a week. Some were shocking in what they had to survive on; others for the abundance. There was a lot of focus on weight with the Western families, which was not my favorite, but I loved the visual nature of the book. I‘d like to see an update since this came out over a decade ago.
This book is pretty cool. It shows the food families all over the world eat in a typical week. This family is Native Inuit and live in a remote village in Greenland. Along with the Ritz crackers and Milky Ways that the kids eat while watching MTV, Dad‘s favorite food is polar bear and Mom‘s is narwhal skin.
This book was published in 2008, so I have no idea if this is the case anymore, but are Rice Krispies really called Rice Bubbles in Australia?! Australian littens , tell me! Because if it is so, I say we petition to change it in U.S. because that‘s adorable.
