I read this before I had children and it haunted me raising them. #mothersstory #bibliomaynia
I've started something new ~ visiting & documenting my visits to Little Free Libraries. This library had audiobooks 🎧& dog biscuits 🐶. Best part...my husband was almost as excited as I was.
1. I think I threw this one across the room while reading it.
2. Cheers
3. I didn‘t have breakfast today

Too slow for me. Couldn‘t quite put it down, but also had to force my way through it

Never hated a main character as much as this one. The farther in the book I get the more I can‘t stand her
The first page and I already don‘t like the main character.
#ReadingResolutions - Depth: This book had mad hype after selection for the Oprah Winfrey Book Club. Keeping up with her book recommendations was one of my favorite reading commitments. But I could not read this book past the description of this mother‘s pain and the depth of her despair. Still to this day books about missing children are always a pass. Maybe one day?!
It's been a while since I read this but I from what I remember I didn't really like it, the main character really got very annoying as the book progressed. #maybookflowers #bodyofwater
I was obsessed with this book when it first came out for some reason. I must have been about 16. I remember being totally gripped by the story of the Cappadoras dealing with a missing child. Also had a bit of a crush on the troubled older brother. The father in this book is Italian-American; he's the manager of his family's Italian restaurant, I think. Pretty sure there were #scenesfromanItalianrestaurant. Or at least one 😅 #rockinmay
@Cinfhen
I admit I fell into Oprah's trap and read this when it was picked for her book club.
