Issue 6 starts with Deadpool being out of sorts, though we don‘t know why. He eventually snaps out of it to be his hilarious amazing self. 4⭐️

Issue 5 of Deadpool (2018) was pretty funny. It‘s a Halloween issue with Deadpool and the seniors doing a walkathon in their Halloween costumes. Black Talon shows up and turns them into zombies. I‘m liking this run by Skottie Young so far. 4⭐️

This was a strange jaunt into Weird World. Deadpool is looking for a target and vows not to leave until he finds him. Ten years pass (although that gets reversed once he gets back to the real world). This was a bit all over the place and was just ok. 3⭐️

Not as good as the last issue, but still enjoyable. 3.5⭐️

This was better than the last issue. Earth is on the verge of an invasion, and the Avengers need Deadpool‘s help. Cue the many Deadpool jokes. Appearances by Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Captain America and She-Hulk. Fun! 4⭐️

In the world of Deadpool, this one is just okay. Since I‘m using Marvel Unlimited now, I‘ll only be reading single issues instead of volumes, so this is for issue 1. Negasonic Teenage Warhead makes an appearance, as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy. Deadpool‘s humor seemed a tad off in this one. 3⭐️

Here‘s what I‘m going to say about Issue 13–while my husband was helping our daughter with her trig homework during breakfast this morning, I excused myself, sat down for a little quality time with Deadpool (important to remember, it‘s well established I‘ll read anything Skottie Young writes) & preceded to giggle hysterically/maniacally/bemusedly from the first page to the last. This was a funny one.
Issue #8 actually. Anyway, it‘s Deadpool so you know what you‘re going to see when you flip it open. I happen to really enjoy Young‘s humor—case in point, this issue. Silly Seal, looking like a retro Saturday morning cartoon character, hires Deadpool to take care of Zaggy the pig who just so happens to be running a decidedly not kid friendly enterprise in the Silly Seal World amusement park. A few other surprises made this another fun read.
