This was a Christmas present from ages ago and was described to me as a history of Lush. Well it is and it isn't. It is the history of what came before Lush and the Cosmetic to Go range which dominated the mail order cosmetic industry in the UK.

If you are interested in that and the history of some of the Lush products then it is probably an interesting read. I found it quite boring.

My boxing day score started at Lush this morning, where I battled a swollen crowd to stock up for #bathandbook. Then I just spent another good chunk of change at Book Outlet. I think it‘s time to put away all the Christmas loot now and try to make some order in this house. 😂

TrishB I love Lush.....but absolutely hate going in the shop. They‘re too pushy and in your face - I usually run out without buying anything. 6y

Reviewsbylola I used to work there so I know exactly what you‘re talking about. 😂 In my time, we were trained to be extremely pushy, mostly from the standpoint that a lot of customers don‘t know how to use the various products. Supposedly they have really moved away from that in recent years, and I don‘t have that problem when I go into the shops now. @TrishB 6y

julesG Wow! Bet nothing's going to be on sale here. And, I don't want to go and find out tomorrow (public holiday today). The highstreet is going to be packed (with muggles). 6y

Tove_Reads Hah, not happening here, believe me! Coming from one of the most expensive countries in the world some shops simply do not have sales. I got Lush products from several people this year though. 6y
