If you‘ve ever been to New Orleans French Quarter, I‘m sure you‘ve seen the Lucky Dog vendors. This book, written by a historian by training & Lucky Dog general manager by trade, retells his real life experiences of working with real life Ignatious Reillys and the spin of Fortuna from 1970 to the mid ‘90s. Entertaining, humorous & providing great ways to describe hotdogs, like ‘8 inches of fun on a bun‘ or ‘tube steaks‘. Fun little read.

🌻 I am so ready for fall! Living in southern Louisiana, summer is dripping in sweat walking to the car at 7:30am to go to work 🥵 fall and spring are the best! Winter here is pretty nice, too.

When people say “only in New Orleans”, I know it is so true. As a 12-year transplant here, I know there is no city like it. This book is hilariously a great history book/memoir, based on real life food cart Fortuna.
