Merry Christmas!!! Santa came (more like the best #litsypenpal) and brought me so many goodies. Teas, crochet kit, a lovely candle, and some good-looking books! Yay, I love bookish Christmas! Thank you so much @Litlady for the fabulous gifts! I'm definitely reading The Nutcracker very soon. I'm going to a musical of The Nutcracker this week. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

I'm not sure I have actually read The Nutcracker (outside of children's board book versions) so thought I'd give it a go this year.

Enjoying this years holiday read in front of the first tree I‘ve had up in my new home. This time last year I was knee deep in moving boxes. Glad to have my favorite relaxing holiday activity back!

Got this in a rather belated Kris Kringle swap (my friends have mad organisational skills 😂) and since I‘m obsessed with nutcrackers... this was a thoughtful choice! I‘m torn between reading immediately or waiting til December...
