I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.

Day 242

Despite the fact that I LOVE the Brother Cadfael books, I have never tried any of Peters's other stories. I came across this one secondhand a while ago and #MarchUnshelving inspired me to finally pick it up! It is a solid, although not mind-blowing, mystery with likable characters - once they got sorted, as there was a bit of a character dump in the beginning. While I didn't instantly bond with Felse like I did Cadfael, this was intriguing ⬇️
Just finished this book today with a main character named Dominic. Picked up The Last Waltz by Dorothy Mack (about as different as one can get) and... main character named Dominic! So weird.
My (probably overly) ambitious #weeklyforecast -
Almost done with the tagged book (not pictured). Hot Ice & The Last Waltz are for #MarchUnshelving, The Happy Camper is a review copy that got lost in the mail; review is due next week!! Mosquitoland is for #LMPBC & Sarah Ward books have been out from the library forever. When I saw Murakami was March's #authoramonth I remembered that 1Q84 was already on my TBR but I had no idea it clocked in at⬇️
1. Tagged - last book for the #MarchUnshelving Readathon!
2. Always, which is part of the reason my progress on my own books is so slow! 😂 4 holds currently.
3. Two utterly obnoxious border collies - Waylon (gray & white, neurotic, obsessed with fetching) & Paisley (blue merle with a blue eye, absolute airhead, NONE of the classic border collie focus, nicknamed Muppet because she looks like one!), & also 14 hens.

Okay, #MarchUnshelfing goals!!
Short term, for the readathon, I would like to finish my two current reads, and then read four of my own books, including the tagged one!!
For the month of March, at least 50% of my reading to be my physical books, and to find at least 15 to donate (although lately my “donating“ has ended up being exchanging at LFLs haha)
Thanks for this challenge to help me focus on books I already own @Clwojick!!
