I swear to God romance books take the phrase “He drives me crazy but I can‘t stop thinking about him!!!!” And turn that into 50 pages over and over and under and sideways. Despite that, there was a good story in here about strong, independent Akila taking a photography class to enhance her writing. She falls for her partner Carlos but things quickly get difficult when she finds out he is part of a podcast that objectifies women and gives 👇🏼

Reggie predatory advice. I really liked the message, and hands down, Danielle writes the most fire sex scenes I have ever read but that angst has got to go. So repetitive. Still....... a, I still got teary eyed near the end, pick! 5y

I forgot where I heard about this, but I knew I had to read a romance that had to do with dudes in grey sweatpants. I actually loved this and can't wait to read more by the author. Akila and Carlos have instant chemistry, but they're kind of enemies because of work. There's lots of dick jokes and also feminist commentary on objectification, it's just pretty great. 💞👀💋
