Quite a senstive story of a man raising an adapted daughter by himself and living with secrets from his past. I would recommend it for those who like an introspective story that makes you think about life and family relations and the tragedies of war.

I am starting a novel that is quite different from what I usually read, found at a Little Free Library.

August is looking to be an ambitious reading month as well! All the books across the top are books that I have committed to in one place or another, so that's the minimum. The rest are icing.

This is a wonderfully written book. I loved it from the first page. I've read all of Chang Rae Lee's book and each book is a joy to read!
