We started a new weekly program at my library. We talk about what we‘re reading each Wednesday at noon on Zoom. It‘s free and open to all and it‘s been pretty fun so far! I have been thinking Litsy may be into it! If you are, fill out this Google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeZn4bkWMEMM5FeKyajSBmBqsKaHs5wmcU7zvZj...

BiblioLitten It‘s a great idea! 3y
Smrloomis This is cool! What time zone is it in? 3y
Chelsea.Poole @Smrloomis oh gesh! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I‘m so used to advertising for the library where everyone is in the same area. It‘s eastern standard time. 3y

EvieBee Guilty! So many conversations turn into: “that reminds me of a book I‘m currently reading…” 3y

BOOK QUESTION!

How do you all separate the books you‘ve read from the ones you haven‘t? I used to keep all my read books on a separate bookcase but I don‘t like them being away from their similar books. So perhaps I‘ll separate them on the same shelves instead? Or am I the only one who does this stuff, hah.

Crazeedi I have 2 huge piles of books I've read. I've donated many to my library(they arent accepting right now), I also send them to any litten I can. The rest are waiting here for new homes. I only keep certain ones for my shelves 4y
AmyG I have a shelf for books I have read and want to give away. A few shelves for books I have read and am keeping. Most shelves are books I have not read. A shelf for signed books. And a shelf for BOTM, graphic novels, memoirs and general non-fiction. Yes, I play with my books when I get really bored. 🤣 (edited) 4y
Soubhiville I have separated shelves for my TBR, and my TBR books are arranged by color. My read books are arranged more logically by genre and alphabetical by author. 4y

raeintheworld My read and unread books live together on the shelf. (Or, to be more accurate, in tall, teetering piles around my apartment.) 4y
Karkar I have to use Goodreads for this. I have too many and I like to keep authors together if I can. 4y
Clare-Dragonfly I don‘t. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have a list in Trello. And I think I remember which are which, mostly! 4y
emtobiasz Mine are all interfiled, but I haven‘t had trouble remembering which ones I have or haven‘t read. I do occasionally need to pull a small TBR stack out just to keep myself on task and let it loom over my nightstand or guilt me back into reading... 😅 4y
SkeletonKey @Crazeedi @AmyG @Soubhiville @raeintheworld @Karkar @Clare-Dragonfly @emtobiasz - Thanks for the input!! I think After all of that I‘ve mostly realized I need more bookcases if I want to organize properly 🙃 4y
Clare-Dragonfly More bookcases is never a bad idea! 4y
Crazeedi @emtobiasz I do same! 4y
