It‘s a perfect day to have a lazy day after yesterday‘s #LitsyWalkathon, so I‘ve decided I‘m going to try to get through the rest of my library stack of #picturebooks for @LibrarianRyan #BBRC event!

The first section of the Birth and Beyond Reading Challenge #BBRC is to read a picture book for every letter of the alphabet. the only real challenge here is the letter Q.

I swear one day I will write a picture book titled Q just so we all have something to fill challenges with.

:)

Soubhiville There‘s got to be a Queen picture book of some kind? 6y
LibrarianRyan @Soubhiville A few. Last time I looked they didn't start with q. But I was being a dire hard first letter of the title gal at the time. 6y
Soubhiville That‘s interesting. You should write one! 6y

LibrarianRyan @Llanphear click clack quack. I love those books. 6y

bibliobard This just seems like a good reason to visit my local library all summer long 😎 6y
LibrarianRyan @Shakespearience might a devilish librarian think of such a thing? Hummmmmm. 😁😈😈😈 6y
alisiakae Also, Queen of the Diamond: A Lizzie Murphy Story by Emily Arnold McCully, and Queen of the Track: Alice Coachman Olympic High-Jump Champion. (neither seem to be in Litsy's database). 5y
IamIamIam I might just get my daughter started on this challenge! Both kids have punch cards for their summer reading with specific rewards for full cards. She may get a kick out of this!!! 😍 Thanks for all for your hard work, Ryan!!! 5y

I am looking for some recommendations for good picture books for 8th graders. Any ideas? #recommend #picturebook

PictureandBook Sorry. Couldn‘t figure out how to do it in one comment. Those are four that I have used with my middle school kids. I also have used Mirror with middle school and high school kids. 7y
Mrs_Black @PictureandBook thank you!! 7y

#mostreadgenre Picture books. So many picture books. That‘s what comes from having five kids and working in youth services at a public library. #allthebooksof2017
