I‘ve been reading Pippa‘s Prince Assassins books that she writes under the pseudonym Ariana Nash and was curious to see her other stuff, thought I would start with her Messenger Chronicles, a science fiction/fantasy mashup ✨✨✨

#WondrousWednesday Thank you for the tags, @Eggs and @Texreader 😁
I - I stayed up too late reading “The Stand” just last night! 🙈
II - Tagged! A book buddy of mine loves reverse-harem romance novels and dared me to buddy read this one with her! The genre was way out of my comfort zone, but the story was so good, I wound up loving it!
III - I remove the dust jacket while reading.

This was my first Pippa DaCosta book, but it definitely won‘t be my last! I was so impressed with all the surprising turns the story took. Every time I thought I had figured out what was going to happen, the author fooled me by going in a completely different direction.
An exciting blend of fantasy and science fiction with a swashbuckling heroine who wields a magical whip and gets into so many fights, Indiana Jones would have trouble keeping up!
I‘ve noticed many wonderful people on here using Bookly, so when a friend invited me to buddy read “Shoot The Messenger” with her, I decided to try Bookly for myself. And while I knew I was a slow reader, I didn‘t realize I was “3 to 4 minutes a page” slow! 😳
Still, a book like this, where everyone has secrets and tantalizing clues are being dropped along the way, maybe it‘s better to savor every page instead of reading through too quickly!
