I love books that are set in Philly which is where I live because I can really get a strong sense of the setting. I thought this book really had a great storyline about a string of murders and the suspense leading up to who the killer was. The ending and twist really took me by surprise and I enjoyed the story quite a bit!

Overall this was a good book. The ending had a twist I didn‘t see coming At times I had difficulty believing the actions of the characters, it just would not happen in real life. I would still recommend it.

I am having a really hard time with this one. The actions of the characters are so far-fetched. I‘m just not sure I can stick with this one.

Suspenseful, if a bit formulaic, but I was a fan. Farrell‘s writing was crisp, the chapters were compact, and the characters were a leeetle under-developed but believable generally. Pick!

Depression and loneliness is a bitch. I haven‘t read much the past few days due to both.

This is not a genre I read much, but it was still extremely predictable. I had the entire plot figured out before I was halfway through with the book, and there was no surprise twist at the end. I hung in there hoping to be surprised, but nope. Never happened. This was just your typical, run-of-the-mill "thriller" "mystery," but it fell woefully short of being either thrilling or mysterious. Two out of five stars.

Evidence points to you, but you can't remember where you were at the time of the murder. Would you believe yourself capable of being a killer? Or would you believe you had been framed? Enjoying this but didn't read much of it yesterday.

Liam thought about his fingerprints at the scene, the scratch down his chest, his rare blood type found under Kerri‘s nails, & her phone being in his trunk on top of the clothes he‘d been wearing the day she was killed....A man who was capable of doing such savage things was foreign to him. So then why was everything pointing to him & no one else? He tried desperately to think about events from the night she was killed....Why couldn‘t he remember?

This book was the best mystery thriller I have read in a while. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, I figured out part of it early on but the ending was still an absolute shock!! Highly recommend this one 🌟📖

So, about three months ago I posted about my book-related dating woes. Not long after that I met the guy of my dreams- a reader, of course. He just joined Goodreads and he moved in this weekend. Eek! He‘s stalking me on Goodreads now and saw the pictured purchase... really it‘s my Amazon First Reads pick and not a purchase at all. The other additions are, however.
