As she tries to pick up the pieces and make sense of what went wrong, Jess begins to realize that a tragic death is just the beginning. Soon she is caught in a web of lies and half-truthsand shes horrified to learn that everything leads back to her seven-year-old adopted son, Gabriel. Years ago, Gabes birth mother requested a closed adoption and Jessica was more than happy to comply. Hey Littens! I picked up these ARCs at the bookstore I used to work at, but I didn't realize there were already a ton of books in the series and I'll never get caught up. Does anyone read this series? Would anyone want them or want to trade for them? Please let me know, as I'd love for them to go to a good home!

Domestic thriller, women‘s fiction. A good portrayal of how far people will go for the family. Slow pace, but a shocking ending!

Running a test run overnight with new (tall) Christmas tree vs the cats.. no decorations yet in case it doesn‘t stay standing 😂. So now that that‘s the plan, I‘m watching the rest of the Pens game and reading finally!

LauraJ I‘ll cross my fingers for you 🤞🏼 6y
