I am posting one book per day from my extensive, and ever growing, TBR shelves. Some are old and some are new, some were gifts and some I don't remember why I bought them.

Day 27
#ABookADay2024
So, I have just started this. Not even done with the prologue and I am already wondering, What Am I Reading!!!!!
This book follows David Wong and his friend John, who both are forced to take a drug called Soy Sauce which is a deadly drug but rather than killing them like many others who have taken it gives them special abilities to see another dimension, and Now it's their job to save and fight off the invasion that is coming and save the world.
if you like books that have action/thriller
written in the first-person point of view through David, Uses “I“
I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.
Day 111

This book is the right amount of twisted and insane. It is very different from the movie, which I really like. I would highly recommend it to others
This book is high-larious!

Did a little book shopping today. John Dies is my March buddy Read and I was persuaded to purchase Persuasion after yesterday‘s Bookclub
On to the next book on my December TBR. I heard this is supposed be pretty entertaining. I hope it doesn't let me down.
Another one came in from the library! #8 I'm drowning in reserved books!
This is a smart, funny novel that will at countless times have you saying, "what the [insert profanity] is happening right now?" This is by far my favorite read of this year. My only regret is not reading it sooner. I wish I had more to say, but I don't think I'd do it justice. ??♀️ I loved it!
I'm only on page 13, and I think I may die of laughter. "I reached for the knob. At the same moment it began to melt and transform, turning pink and finally taking the shape of a flaccid penis. It flopped softly against the door, like a man was cramming it through the knob hole from the other side".
Hillarious and hard to describe. Probably best suited for people who get a kick out of B-movies.
This is one of the weirdest books I've ever read.
If you have read Grasshopper Jungle and liked it then this book is for you. It is not for me
This was a pretty good piece of horror with lots of humor and mocked tropes. If you liked the Evil Dead movies, this would be your speed.
