Today also involved the next part of my long-delayed FMA reread. There‘s so much good stuff here, y‘all; so many characters who do the right thing even when it‘s the very hardest thing. It feels extremely topical, too.

I froze most of the moonblush tomato scones I made yesterday, but I kept two out for my breakfast. They paired well with the first couple chapters of FMA Vol 16.
Not much to say that wouldn‘t be spoilers! But one of my favorite scenes occurred and I‘m a happy fan.
Thanks for the tag, @alwaysbeenaloverofbooks! Even if I‘m answering late. But tomorrow is Thursday, so let‘s pretend I‘m early. 😆

2. Digital library checkouts of childhood-favorite books, grocery delivery, and online friends who remember me even after I vanish for a month or two.

I finished volume 16 and 17 today. The plot is only getting thicker as more people get involved. I can't wait to see how they try and stop the master plan they figured out in vol.17!
I love this series so much and this volume is no different. More political chess and the chase to find Marco & Scar is on! We meet a rather intense relative of Armstrong's and get more insight on the civil war. I can't wait to read the next one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
