pickI created my March BookSpin list on the heels of the Polar Vortex and was compelled to pull some Elin Hilderbrand from my TBR. ...Aside from the cover itself, there wasn‘t a pile of beach vibes, but these 8 friends were intriguing and the cover still gives me hope for spring!

pickFinished my second Elin Hilderbrand this weekend. I liked this one better than The Perfect Couple. Reading on the beach is one of my favorite things and we had great weather for it this afternoon. I‘m reading my second Elin Hilderbrand novel and it just seemed perfect for a weekend beach trip. So far, I‘m hooked! The characters are interesting and I can‘t wait to see where this book goes. I‘ve heard her book Summer of ‘69 is really great too, and when an independent bookstore owner tells you, well you believe them! // #beachread #novel
so-soThe comaraderie was rather beautiful how they came together...fell apart...and found each other in their grief. Some of the storyline was a bit too far fetched...the intertwined relationships...vacations...but I guess if you're rich....that's real life???
Great author...just not the read for me.
