I started this yesterday on International Women‘s Day, which I thought was fitting. I‘ve always thought Ann‘s voice was awesome, and that both she and Nancy were badass! This was a great account of their career - the highs and lows, the sexism in the industry, and their sisterly bond.

#bookspinbingo - free space
#pop24 - autobiography by a woman in rock ‘n‘ roll (this is technically two women, but it still counts 🤪)

This is a great book about a great rock bank. We often think we know things about a band, but our perceptions are often wrong because of the pressure placed on entertainers to present themselves in a certain way.

I love Heart, still do. This looks like a great book. Ann and Nancy comment on events in their lives and careers that have, so far, been fun and humorous. I love these girls....rebels rockers, each in their own way!

kyraleseberg Such a great band! I've had their greatest hits album on everything from cassette to MP3 through the years because their music just stands the test of time. 6y

These ladies kick ass! I‘ve always loved Heart, but didn‘t know much about them. A great listen as they both narrate the book.

I‘ve liked Heart for ages. Their music is #InYourSoul whether it is a folk song or a rocking rhythm. #NewYearReads

Heart! The Wilson sisters pumped me up before exams in nursing school. I'm always intrigued to learn the stories behind the songs I love. A bonus in this book was learning a family member was burned at the stake for witchcraft & it led me another book: A Storm of Witchcraft. #bookishsiblings #augustphotochallenge @TheSpinecrackersBookClub
